Description:
The Torkie is a hybrid designer mixed breed. They are a mix
between a Toy Fox Terrier and a Yorkshire Terrier (Yorkie). Torkies are very
petite and usually only stand six to nine inches at the shoulders. They weigh 7
to 12 pounds and stand 8 to 9 inches at the shoulder. Females tend to be the
same size as the males. These spunky little dogs bond very closely with their
owners and can become protective over them. Their small size makes them an
ideal dog for an apartment.
